In the always-growing technology field, the best way to get ahead is to make yourself better. Now, I don’t necessarily mean better than the person next to you or better than the majority of software developers, but better than your previous self. This it the first post aimed at learning, in a series devoted to making yourself a better developer.
I spend most of my days writing PHP. Because of that I am used to composer for dealing with dependency management, and using namespacing to encapuslate vendor packages. The advent of composer has made dealing with dependencies in PHP extremely easy, portable, and really takes any guess work out of contributing to an open source package. That was not my experience with Go.
